Description:
The evolving and complex world of quantum mechanics found resonance with computing and calculations’ challenges on the late 1990’s, leading to the outstanding current world of Quantum Computing. A high-skilled field of research, which began by tackling difficult security issues, has now turned into a fistful battle of major tech companies striving to achieve higher qubit rates, lower energy requirements, and higher parallelization outputs, aiming at transforming logical and traditional methods of calculations into mind-bending, almost incomprehensible, illogical approaches to simplify the universe of operations management.
Join us on this CSI session where we present some history of quantum mechanics and industrial revolutions, portray most common approaches to quantum computing problems, and demystify mysteries of our logical, and illogical, operations management field with examples of QC applications.
Bring an empty mind (really, it is needed, logic makes no sense here), and a few questions for our get-together next 01.04.2025, on our only CESE CSI Garden.
This session is kindly presented by our CPES colleague José Brito.

A maioria das expressões são claramente positivas, incluindo emojis como 🔥 e 👍, que denotam entusiasmo e aprovação. Frases como 'Do c******!!!' (usado no sentido positivo), 'Super nice', 'Excelente iniciativa!', 'Inspirador!' e 'Porreiro' reforçam o sentimento positivo. Apenas uma ou duas expressões são neutras ('Ok...', 'Quantum custa?'), mas não afetam o tom geral, que é amplamente favorável.
